4 Ways to Raise Your Profile & Get New Business

There's a lot of competition out there, so you need to turn the odds in your favor.  Here are "4 Ways to Raise Your Profile & Get New Business."

1. Get Active In Your Community
Volunteer for a charity or business group.  We don't mean just lend your name - be an active and committed volunteer.  The exposure you generate as a result of your volunteer work is a win-win for your business and the group for which you volunteer.

2. Be a Speaker
While that might seem out of your comfort zone, you need to change your perspective.  You are an expert in your field.  Everyone wants to have the inside scoop from business leaders who are in the trenches.  They want to hear how to stay competitive, what you've done to survive in this tough economic climate, what spells success in your industry, keys to staying innovative, and on and on.  Just please don't make your presentation a sales pitch for your product or service.

3. Write a guest Article or a Letter to the Editor
Letting others know your thoughts on topics related to your business is a good thing.  It reinforces your professionalism and, at the same time, generates a positive impression of you, your company and your industry.

4. What's New With You?
Did you or someone in your company receive an award or special recognition?  Has someone in your business been promoted?  Do you have a new hire?  Are you introducing a new product or service?  These are all great reasons to send out a press release.

Now here is our pitch.  Whenever you have questions about your marketing, public relations or social media, Tenbrook Associates Marketing & Public Relations is here to help.  Our consultations are always free.  Simply e-mail us at info@tenbrook.us or call 305-597-0055.
